Patreon Update #03 and #04, omg I’m so late~

tsukarechan_smugOh nooooo! It's me, Tsukarechan, and I totally slept in!! This happens a lot, and my dad really busts my chops for it…but I can't help it!

Anyway, Mr. Tired is busy posting updates over on his Patreon page, so this is me re-posting stuff after everyone donating to Mr. Tired Media has had the chance to check it out!

Why don't you consider donating a cup of coffee each month? I guess he can even get some kinda drink for just $1, so anything you can do would be a mega-big help! He did tell me that it's totally optional and that Undead Darlings ~no cure for love~ will be developed no matter what. Your donations are a way for him to keep everyone in the loop on development updates, give NickyD time to post opinion pieces and do live streams, and for everyone involved in the project to get paid and get their work done faster!

Read on for the third and fourth Patreon updates, okay?!

So, the third update was actually made public, meaning anyone can read it on Patreon! Give it a look here—it's even got some neat fanart!

As for the fourth update, here's what they had to say:

Mr. Tired Gets A Refund!

For the last 15 months, we've been engaged in some back-and-forth with a certain state's certain department of certain tax things. Long story short, they had taken money from our account to pay for things that we did not owe. It took a long time, but we finally got that money back! The system works!

I bring this up because it's good news and it's been an item weighing on my shoulders for months and months. Now I can move on to other things, like even more time focused on the game itself. That's the bummer with being an actual business and not a lone indie dev making something for fun; we have all this paperwork and governmental schlock to keep up with, too.

So, Dat Boss?

The design isn't final (we're adding a couple of different kinds of glasses/cups for the enemy's head to be bobbling toward via animations), but this is what we had code-named "Floating Desk Agreement Monster" in our internal papers.

He is the boss that guards the Evidence Storage room in the Police Station dungeon. Who knows what caused him to become the way he is! Well, that's one of the first sub-events conversations the characters have, actually. Whatever has happened to the world, it goes a lot further than "zombie virus." Monsters, fusions with inanimate objects… There's something seriously wrong with the world now, and it's produced creatures that are straight out of someone's drug-induced nightmares (mine?).

Thanks for reading, everyone! I look forward to making more progress and, with your help, the game even better!
